Pressotherapy

Pressotherapy is a non-invasive treatment that uses controlled air pressure to massage the body and promote lymphatic fluid movement. It is often used to improve circulation, reduce fluid retention, detoxify the body, and enhance the appearance of the skin.

In a pressotherapy session, a person wears garments connected to a pneumatic device that inflates and deflates sequentially. This rhythmic pressure mimics the lymphatic system, stimulating lymphatic drainage and promoting the removal of toxins and waste products.

Pressotherapy offers several cosmetic benefits, including:

1. Reduced swelling and fluid retention

The rhythmic pressure applied during pressotherapy helps to mobilize excess fluid from the tissues, reducing swelling and alleviating symptoms of water retention, bloating, and puffiness.

2. Improved circulation

Pressotherapy promotes blood flow and lymphatic circulation, which can help deliver oxygen and nutrients to the skin cells, promote tissue repair, and enhance the overall health and appearance of the skin.

3. Cellulite reduction

By promoting lymphatic drainage and improving circulation, pressotherapy can help reduce the appearance of cellulite and localized fat deposits, leading to smoother, firmer skin texture.

4. Body contouring

Pressotherapy can help sculpt and shape the body by targeting specific areas of concern, such as the abdomen, thighs, buttocks, and arms. It can be used as part of a comprehensive body contouring treatment plan to enhance results and improve overall body shape.
